| Public Meeting: Major Housing Proposals
Thursday 28 May, 7.30pm Wetherby Methodist Church, Bank Street, LS22 6NQ Several large housing schemes are being proposed just inside the North Yorkshire Council area but on Wetherby’s boundary: 210 homes – off Spofforth Hill (Hallam/Stockeld Park) Up to 593 homes – off Hudson Way (Gladman Developments) Around 100 homes – Sicklinghall Road (Miller Homes) At the Public Meeting, Ward councillors, town and parish representatives, Better Wetherby and local community groups will outline the facts, explain the implications for the town and surrounding villages, and show how residents can engage constructively.
